Swazi Puffadder Jacket
Humans have been sandwiching layers of feathers between fabric to stay warm for thousands of years. You might be surprised to learn that the modern puffer jacket is over a hundred years old. George Finch, an Australian chemist and mountaineer, made the first one from balloon fabric and eiderdown way back in 1922.
We reckon old George would have killed for one of our new Puffadder Jackets. This men’s puffer jacket has a detachable hood, and the outer fabric is showerproof Gen II Strata®.
We’ve packed it with our super lightweight, breathable comfortemp® insulation fibre, which is so much easier to clean and care for than feathers or old school down insulation.
The Puffadder can be rolled into its hood – doing double duty as a travel pillow when you want to get your head down.Â
Pull one on and you'll instantly feel the Puffadder’s warmth. It’s a good looking, easy insulated jacket you can count on in cold conditions.
